Create a roughly humanoid game character for a FPS game (first person shooter) and make it ready for animation. This could be a barbarian warrior, orc, zombie, cowboy, terminator or whatever your fantasy suggests.
About the course:
Three intense weeks.
Course-work is mostly done in the 3ds Max software.
For everyone that is interested in making graphics for game production.
No need to have 3D skills in advance. The daily teaching will provide all the knowledge needed.
Specific course topics:
Organic character modelling for games.
Texture mapping in Photoshop.
Pixel painting in the 3D-coat software.
Creation of morph targets for facial expressions etc.
Skinning the model to the 3ds Max default human rig (Biped).
