Ingrid "Inky" Serritslev
From architecture student to 3D model builder Ingrid "Inky" Serritslev attended TRUEMAX Academy during the first and second semesters of 2002.
Ingrid comes from Cape Town, South Africa. She studied architecture there but travelled to Denmark at the age of 21 to work as a trainee in a Danish architect studio, and to learn the Danish language.
However, Ingrid became interested in learning 3D and began her studies at TRUEMAX. She says that the year she spent at TRUEMAX was the best training she has ever had - and that it was definitely the most exciting.
During the first half of 2003 Ingrid worked as in-house 3D graphic artist with PLOT A/S, the architecture studio responsible for several buildings in Ørestad and Havnebadet in Copenhagen Harbour. From 2003 onward she has worked freelance for companies such as Turntool in Aarhus, one of her biggest customers. Ingrid has also created a "virtual reality" version of Copenhagen's Christiansborg Palace, which can be viewed on the DR web site. Due to her background, Ingrid has chosen to specialize in the field of architecture.
Ingrid Serritslev has now returned to Cape Town, South Africa where she has established an office located in her father's company, which makes physical models for architecture studios around the world. Ingrid hopes that her 3D models will become part of their product line and that she will one day run her father's company.
Even though Ingrid is now physically located in Cape Town, she still works with her Danish customers while continuing to market her services on a local basis.
Ingrid has promised to stay in touch with TRUEMAX and keep us updated. |
