Filip Tvede Kastrup
From comic strips to 3D storytelling
Filip has always made drawings and told stories - preferably in the form of his own comic strips, which he has been creating since he was 15.
Stories were and still are important to Filip, and he has told some of his more amusing stories on the radio program "Radio Funksome".
Filip still continues to tell his stories graphically as well as verbally, and his various forms of expression gained unity when he began to take artist Leo Bannerfelt's courses in classic animation. Seeing his characters suddenly come to life was something of a revelation for Filip.
When Filip started at TRUEMAX Academy, he experienced the possibilities that 3D offers compared with 2D. Now, after completing the 2-year TRUEMAX program, Filip works with 3D production jobs of various types and challenges.
For Filip, telling his stories is as important as breathing. Filip is currently working on ideas that will be brought to life in 3D films in the near future. |
